Description
Set a 2" OD railing post or baluster firmly to the floor or wall. The flange bolts down as a 5" base and takes the post through a 2" tube socket, giving the mount a wide footprint so the post stays steady at the foot of a stair, along a balcony run, or at the end of a railing. It works for a single post or a full run of picket bases. Choose from four finishes: 304 stainless in polished or satin for a modern rail, or polished brass for a traditional or restored one. It pairs with the matching 2" OD brass cap rail, flush-fitting, and ball fitting lines, so the base ties into the rest of the railing. This 304 stainless version is for indoor and dry use, not marine or coastal exposure.
