Finger room is the point of the tall post: it holds a 2-inch OD brass handrail far enough off the short wall to allow a full, comfortable grip. A cast ball finial finishes the top. Polished brass, for low walls and landing walls that need a real rail rather than a trim piece.
Description
Grip clearance separates the tall post from its short sibling: standing taller at the same 2-inch OD, it extends the brass tube far enough off the wall for a hand to wrap all the way around, making the rail a working handhold on a low wall, half-wall, or landing. Where the short ball-end post suits a decorative accessory rail, this is the handrail-functional choice — stair-side low walls, accessibility retrofits, and brass grab bars that need proper clearance. Cast in polished brass, the finish offered at this OD, with a ball finial at the terminus. Ships with the California Proposition 65 lead warning standard for brass.
