At the 2" OD size, this 90° flush elbow joins the handrail at rectangular landings and lobby staircases with the joint tucked flush into the tube line. Polished brass, 304 polished or satin stainless, or 316 polished or satin stainless — five finishes covering interior through coastal and pool installations.
Description
When a heavier 2" OD handrail needs a true 90° corner, this flush elbow makes it without a welded joint. A tube slides into each end and the joint sits flush, so nothing sticks out along the grip line. It's the sharp-cornered choice for rectangular landings and larger staircases — a single lobby staircase or a longer run alike. The five finishes cover the range: polished brass for a warm traditional or restoration rail, 304 stainless polished or satin for a modern lobby, and both 316 stainless polished and satin where salt or chlorine is present, such as a beachfront deck. Having both 316 finishes at this size is unusual and gives a coastal rail either a mirror or a low-glare surface. It pairs with the matching 2" flush fittings so the whole rail comes from one family.
