Ball Ell Satin Stainless Steel for 2" dia. Tubing (44-702/2)
Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.
All ball fittings are supplied with self-drilling, self-tapping hardware

At the largest tube size, the 90° turn keeps the family's signature detail: this Ball El joins two 2" OD tubes with the traditional cast ball at the corner. No exact cuts are needed, since the tube ends seat inside the fitting. Polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless.
Description
For the 2" OD rail, the Ball El turns the 90° corner with the line's signature cast ball at the joint. It suits the head of a stair, the corner of a landing, or a balcony or bar rail, and it removes the need for a welded corner: both tube ends seat inside the ball, so the straight runs are cut to length while the fitting holds the corner. Polished brass gives a warm traditional rail; polished 304 stainless reads bright and modern; satin 304 stainless keeps glare down. The matching tees, crosses, and single-outlet fittings in the 2" ball line complete the system.
