A decorative ball finial does the finishing work on this short wall post: it carries a heavier 2-inch OD brass rail along the top of a low wall, half-wall, or landing wall, and doubles for heavy brass grab bars and door pulls. Each end of the run gets the same classic detail. Polished brass, sized for 2-inch OD tube.
Description
Largest of the three ball-end short posts — the family also comes in 1-inch and 1.5-inch OD — this version mounts a 2-inch OD brass rail to a wall and caps each end with a decorative cast ball. The larger diameter suits a graspable brass handrail along the top of a short wall or low landing wall, plus heavy-duty brass grab bars and brass door pulls. Cast in polished brass, the finish offered at this diameter, it pairs with the matching ball-center posts when a longer run needs mid-support, keeping the whole brass line in one family. Ships with the California Proposition 65 lead warning standard for brass.
