This canopy conceals the fasteners at the base of a rail: it slips over 1.5" OD tube and covers the floor flange's edge and bolt heads. The part is purely cosmetic, with no load role. In 316-grade polished or satin stainless, or polished brass to match a heritage rail's warmer hardware.
Description
Give the base of a floor-flanged post a finished look. This canopy slides down over the 1.5" OD tube and sits over the flange, hiding the bolt heads and the flange edge so the mount reads clean where the post meets the floor. It's a cosmetic cover only, so it adds no load and slips onto an existing floor flange as easily as a new one. Choose the finish that matches your rail: 316-grade polished or satin stainless for a modern look and marine-grade durability, or polished brass for a traditional or restored rail. The brass finish carries a California Proposition 65 disclosure. A spec sheet is available.
