Splice for 1" dia. Tubing (00-830/1)

For quick and easy splicing of railing tube. Made from brass to allow easy installation. Use on brass, chrome, or stainless steel tubing.

MARKSTAAR offers  premium materials for architectural interiors including hand rails, foot rails, stair railings and kitchen railings. Our products are designed to meet most building codes. Solid brass and stainless steel are our choice materials for quality and durability. We finish these metal railings in-house, to maintain rigid quality control.

An Internal Splice is used to connect tubing together.  It is placed on the interior of 2 tubes and is hidden.  Therefore, the finish does not need to match the tube

Two sections of 1" round tubing join into one continuous handrail with the 00-830/1 splice fitted inside the joint. The brass construction deforms slightly under installation for a friction fit, which lets it work inside brass, chrome, or stainless steel tubing alike — a quick, low-tooling way to join multi-section rails end to end.

Description

Join two sections of 1" OD round tubing into one continuous handrail run. The 830-1 Splice slips inside the tube ends and locks them end-to-end inline, so a stair or a decorative interior rail reads as a single rail instead of separate lengths. Because it is made of soft brass that deforms slightly for a friction fit, it grips the inside of the tube for quick, easy installation. The brass build lets one splice work across brass, chrome, or stainless steel tubing, so you can keep a single part on hand for different 1" rail materials. It pairs with the 1" round tubing and matching fittings in the same line, so a multi-section run comes together from parts made to fit each other.
