Description
A guard rail keeps people from falling; a handrail gives them something to hold. Codes often want both, and on an open stair there is no wall to hang the second rail from. The 308PM/1H solves that by mounting the handrail bracket to the post itself. A clamp fits around the post, and a bracket arm carries a saddle for a 1.5-inch OD handrail at grasping height, held off the post so a hand can wrap it fully. The bracket is welded 316-grade stainless steel with a satin finish, so it stands up to weather, pool chemistry, and salt air as well as interior use. Pair it with the 1.5-inch OD tubing and the matching 316 saddles, end caps, and flanges in the same family, and the handrail reads as part of the post system rather than an add-on.
