It presses in like the simpler caps and is offered in polished brass by design.

Intricate cast scrollwork makes this the most decorative termination in the line: the Scroll Finial (00-606/1H) presses into a 1.5" OD tube end on a press-fit stem and presents its ornament at the head of a staircase, the end of a landing rail, or on a restored period railing. Offered in polished brass for .050" wall tubing — by design, since the material is part of the detail — it suits Victorian and Edwardian-era styling and traditional brass restoration work. The part is purely cosmetic, capping the tube end and carrying the ornament with no load or structural role, and pairs with the matching brass fittings in the same line.
