Straight stairs and ramps slope in one plane, and the 820-1H adjusts in exactly that one: a single-axis saddle that holds a 1.5" OD brass top rail at the run's pitch. Solid polished brass, with a full brass system behind it — A110 tube, 730/1H flush fittings, matching finials to finish the run.
Description
Straight stair and ramp slopes bend in one plane only, and the 820-1H matches that geometry: a single-axis adjustment that sets a 1.5" OD brass handrail at the run's angle on top of its post. It anchors a fully documented brass system — companion tube A110, matching flush fittings (730/1H series), and matching finials (600/1H, 602/1H, 608/1H). Polished brass is rated for indoor use; uncoated brass can be used outdoors and develops a natural patina. For a curved or spiral staircase, step up to a ball-joint saddle — the 821-1H in stainless or the 821-2 in brass. It fits 1.5" brass tube (.050" wall) and installs with self-drilling stainless screws.
