A wall flange with no holes in the base, for 1-inch OD railing tubing. The 500U/1 gives the installer a plain 2-inch base to drill to a custom hole pattern or to bond with construction adhesive where fasteners are not wanted on the face. The collar still locks the tube with a set screw. 304 stainless, polished or satin, sized to match the 1-inch line.
Description
Sometimes the fastener pattern is the problem. The wall behind a rail may have a stud, a tile joint, or a finish that should not show screw heads, and a pre-drilled flange forces the holes where they happen to fall. The 500U/1 leaves the base undrilled so the installer decides: drill for the anchors the wall needs, or bond the flange with a structural adhesive for a clean face with no visible hardware. Everything else matches the standard 500/1. The collar accepts 1-inch OD tubing and a set screw locks it. The 2-inch base keeps the proportion right on a lighter rail. It comes in 304-grade stainless, polished or satin, for interior runs, and it pairs with the 1-inch tubing, end caps, and brackets in the same family so the run reads as one system.
