At the largest rail size, the 821-2 provides full articulation: a compound-angle ball joint positions a 2" OD top rail on its post through curved and spiral staircases or mid-run angle changes. It comes in polished brass, 304 polished, or 304 satin stainless, for indoor rail systems in any of the three finishes.
Description
Brass has its ball-joint option too: the 821-2 cradles a 2" OD handrail on top of a post and adjusts to any angle, following a curved or spiral staircase or a compound-angle transition where a single-axis swivel can't reach. It comes in polished brass alongside 304 polished and 304 satin stainless, all rated for indoor use; for an outdoor or coastal rail, choose a 316 finish at 1.5" or 1.67". It holds the rail at a 2-1/8" projection on .050" tube and installs with self-drilling stainless screws on the A120 companion tube. For brass at 2" on a straight slope, the single-axis 820-2 is the counterpart.
