This Ball Finial crowns a 2" OD brass railing with a large decorative sphere, pressed into the open tube end at the top of a staircase, the end of a balcony rail, or a heritage restoration. Cast in polished brass, it is scaled to the larger tube and made to match a traditional brass railing and its fittings.
Description
The 2" Ball Finial scales the line's ornamental cap to the heavier brass rail: a full polished brass ball on a press-fit stem, sized in proportion to the larger tube, sitting above the rail at the head of a stair, the end of a balcony rail, or on a restored brass railing. Offered in polished brass for .050" wall tubing, it delivers a warm, traditional finish at the larger rail size. The part is purely cosmetic — it caps the tube end and adds the ornament, with no structural or load role — and matches the rest of a 2" brass railing so the whole run reads as one finished piece.
