Stairs and landings do not always meet at 90 degrees. The Ball 135 Degree Side Outlet Tee is for the corner that opens wider: a straight 1.5-inch OD run turns through 135 degrees while a third tube meets the joint perpendicular to the plane, and all four ends seat inside the cast ball at the center. Cut the straight pieces, seat them, and the fitting fixes the angles. It is cast in polished brass, the finish that suits a period brass rail or a restoration that reproduces an original angled junction, and it matches the 135-degree ball elbows and the rest of the 1.5-inch brass ball family.
