Ball Side Outlet Ell Brass for 1" dia. Tubing (00-703/1)
Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.
All ball fittings are supplied with self-drilling, self-tapping hardware.

The Ball Side Outlet El combines a corner and a branch in one part: it turns a 1" OD brass rail through 90 degrees while a third outlet exits perpendicular to the turn, replacing an elbow-and-tee stack at the joint. Finished in polished brass for traditional small-tube rail and fixture work.
Description
Where a rail turns a corner and a post or second rail meets the same point, the Ball Side Outlet El does both in one fitting: a 90° elbow plus a third outlet at a right angle to the turn. Three 1" OD tube ends seat into a single cast ball — a clean corner for a stair, a landing, or a bar rail return. The tube ends hide inside the ball, so you cut the straight runs and let the fitting hold all three angles. Cast in polished brass for traditional brass rails, it works with the matching elbows, tees, and single-outlet fittings in the same 1" ball line.
