Ball Side Outlet Tee Brass for 1.5" O.D. Tubing (00-705/1H)
Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.
All ball fittings are supplied with self-drilling, self-tapping hardware.

Where four 1.5" OD tubes converge, the Side Outlet Tee organizes the junction in a single cast ball: one rail runs straight through while two branches exit, one in plane and one perpendicular. The three-dimensional intersection resolves as one deliberate fitting. Available in polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless.
Description
Mid-run on a stair or bar rail, a straight run, a branch, and a post sometimes converge at one point. The 1.5" Ball Side Outlet Tee resolves that three-dimensional junction in a single cast ball: a pass-through axis, a perpendicular branch, and a third outlet at a right angle to both — work that would otherwise take a welded joint. The four tube ends seat inside the ball, so the straight lengths are cut to size and the fitting sets every angle. Offered in polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless, alongside the matching tees, elbows, and single-outlet fittings in the same 1.5" ball line.
