Ball Single Outlet Brass for 1.5" O.D. Tubing (00-700/1H)
Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.

The Ball Single Outlet closes a run with the line's signature detail: one 1.5" OD tube end seats into the cast ball for a clean, traditional terminus. Offered in polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless to match the fittings used along the rest of the rail, from elbows to tees.
Description
Every rail run has to end somewhere, and an open tube looks unfinished. The Ball Single Outlet slips onto one 1.5" OD tube end and closes it with a decorative cast ball — the traditional way to finish the end of a stair rail, a bar rail, or a post top with a rounded detail instead of a raw cut. It's an end fitting: one outlet, one clean finish. Choose polished brass for a warm traditional look, polished 304 stainless for a bright modern one, or satin 304 stainless for a softer finish, and match it to the elbows, tees, and other ball fittings in the same 1.5" line so the run ends in the same family of parts.
