Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.
All ball fittings are supplied with self-drilling, self-tapping hardware

At the 2" OD size, this Ball Single Outlet finishes the run with the family's defining detail: a cast ball that receives one tube end and closes the rail. No exact cut is needed — the tube end seats inside the fitting. Polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless, matching the rest of the ball-fitting line.
Description
The 2" Ball Single Outlet closes a run the traditional way: one tube end slips inside a decorative cast ball, replacing a raw cut with a rounded, finished detail at the end of a stair rail, a bar rail, or a post top. As an end fitting it has a single outlet and a single job. Polished brass suits a warm traditional rail; polished 304 stainless gives a bright modern finish; satin 304 stainless softens the look. The elbows, tees, and other ball fittings in the same 2" line let the whole run end in one family of parts.
