Description
Handrail codes favor a rail that ends at the wall, and this precision-bent section makes that happen at 1.5" OD: it routes the rail 180 degrees back to terminate at the wall, removing the protruding tube end that can catch clothing, straps, or bags at the top or bottom of a stair. The return-to-wall shape is designed to help meet ADA and IBC handrail return requirements. It comes in polished brass, 304 polished or satin stainless, and 316 polished or satin stainless, and fits .050" or .060" wall tubing, covering an interior rail or a coastal exterior stair with one part.
