Set a 2" OD brass top rail on a post at the slope of a straight stair or ramp. The 820-2 is the single-axis adjustable brass saddle at the 2" size, attaching a 2" round brass handrail to a vertical brass post in solid polished brass.
Description
Cradle a 2" OD brass handrail on top of a post at the angle a straight stair or ramp requires. The 820-2 is the 2" companion to the 820-1H and the single-axis adjustable brass saddle at this size; it carries the rail on a vertical brass post and adjusts to the run on a single axis. It's built for warm-finish stairs where brass at the larger 2" size is the intent, and pairs with a documented brass system: companion tube A120, matching flush fittings (730/2 series), and matching finials (600/2, 602/2, 608/2). Polished brass is rated for indoor use; uncoated brass can be used outdoors and develops a natural patina. For a curved or spiral staircase, choose the ball-joint 821-2; for the 1.5" size, choose the 820-1H. It fits 2" brass tube (.050" wall) and installs with self-drilling stainless screws.
