Ball Side Outlet Tee for 1 inch O.D. Tubing, Polished Brass (00-705/1)
Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.
All ball fittings are supplied with self-drilling, self-tapping hardware.

Small-diameter rails encounter complex junctions as well. This four-outlet ball fitting resolves one of them: a straight pass-through plus two branches — a tee and a perpendicular outlet — cast around a single decorative ball for 1" OD brass tubes, gathering four tubes into one intersection without stacked fittings. Finished in polished brass to suit a traditional rail.
Description
Four 1" OD tubes meet where a straight run, a branch, and a post converge, and the Ball Side Outlet Tee ties them together: a pass-through axis, a perpendicular branch, and a third outlet at a right angle to both — one cast ball doing the work of a welded 3D junction, mid-run on a stair or bar rail. Four tube ends seat inside the ball, so you cut the straight lengths and let the fitting set every angle — no exact corner measuring. Cast in polished brass for traditional rails, it pairs with the matching tees, elbows, and single-outlet fittings in the same 1" ball line.
