The radius bend on this 90° flush elbow lets a hand travel through the corner without leaving the rail: a 1.5" OD handrail turns on a smooth, graspable curve rather than a sharp angle. Four finishes: polished brass, 304 polished or satin stainless, and 316 satin stainless for coastal decks.
Description
This flush elbow rounds a 1.5" OD handrail through a 90° corner with a smooth curve, keeping a hand moving continuously around the turn — the reason a radius bend gets specified over a sharp corner on primary grip rails. Slide a tube into each end for a flush joint. It suits the right-angle turns at building corners and landings on a main handrail, on one flight or throughout a building. It comes in four finishes: polished brass for a traditional rail, 304 stainless polished or satin for a modern interior, and 316 stainless satin where salt or chlorine calls for corrosion resistance — a coastal deck or a high-touch rail, where satin also hides fingerprints. If you want a polished 316 finish at a 90° corner, the sharp-angled 90° flush elbow offers it. Note the OD won't interchange with 1" or 2" tubing.
