On a main staircase or lobby rail at 2" OD, this flush radius elbow sweeps the handrail through 90° on a smooth bend, keeping the corner graspable along its full curve. Four finishes — polished brass, 304 polished or satin stainless, and 316 polished stainless for coastal settings — keep the appearance consistent.
Description
On a larger primary rail, specifiers often want the modern look and continuous grip of a radius corner — this fitting provides it at 2" OD, rounding the handrail through a smooth 90° curve at landings and lobby staircases. A tube slides into each end for a flush joint. Four finishes: polished brass for a traditional rail, 304 stainless polished or satin for a modern interior, and 316 polished stainless where salt or chlorine calls for corrosion resistance — an oceanfront rail where a mirror finish reads well at scale. If a 316 satin finish is needed at 2" OD, the 135° flush elbow offers both 316 finishes. Note the OD won't interchange with 1.5" or 1.67" tubing.
