Ball Side Outlet Tee Polished Stainless Steel for 2" dia. Tubing (40-705/2)
Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.
All ball fittings are supplied with self-drilling, self-tapping hardware

One cast fitting resolves the busiest junction in a 2" OD rail layout: the Ball Side Outlet Tee combines a straight pass-through with two branches, in three dimensions. Four tubes seat into a single decorative ball. In polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless for modern or traditional runs.
Description
At the largest tube size, the Ball Side Outlet Tee resolves the busiest mid-run junction: a straight 2" OD run passes through while a perpendicular branch and a third right-angle outlet meet it at one cast ball — work that would otherwise require a welded 3D joint on a stair or bar rail. The four tube ends seat inside the ball, so the straight lengths are cut to size and the fitting sets every angle. Available in polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless, with matching tees, elbows, and single-outlet fittings in the same 2" ball line.
