Ball Tee Polished Stainless Steel for 1.5" O.D. Tubing (40-704/1H)
Our ball fittings are used to construct handrails, footrails, stair rails, bar rails, ballet rails, and many other metal railing systems. The vertical posts of the railings should be made with a continuous architectural metal tube (for strength) while the horizontals are cut and fit with architectural hardware between posts. Ball fittings may be available in a variety of finishes not usually found in traditional brass fitting, including stainless steel, and more.
All ball fittings are supplied with self-drilling, self-tapping hardware.

This Ball Tee marks the point where a branch meets a straight 1.5" OD run with the family's signature cast sphere. It combines the pass-through and the perpendicular outlet in one piece, keeping the junction consistent with the rest of the fittings. In polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless.
Description
A branch that ties into a straight 1.5" OD run at a right angle calls for the Ball Tee: pass-through axis, perpendicular outlet, and a decorative ball marking the joint, all in one cast piece. Stair rails pick it up where a landing branch joins; bar rails use it for a return. Because the three tube ends seat inside the ball, the straight lengths are cut to size and the fitting holds the branch angle. Available in polished brass, polished 304 stainless, or satin 304 stainless, with matching elbows, crosses, and single-outlet fittings in the same 1.5" ball line.
