At the 2" OD size, this is the largest scroll cap in the line: a detailed casting that presses into the end of a brass handrail at a staircase top, cap-rail run, or heritage restoration. It is offered in polished brass only, since the material is part of the ornamental detail.
Description
Scaled to the heavier rail, the 2" Scroll Finial carries the same Victorian-era scroll detail as the smaller size: intricate cast brass ornament on a press-fit stem, serving as the decorative focal point at the head of a staircase, the end of a cap-rail run, or on a restored period railing. Offered in polished brass for .050" wall tubing, it caps the tube end and carries the ornament — purely cosmetic, with no load role — and matches the rest of a 2" brass railing.
