Description
On a long brass handrail run, the two end posts can't hold the middle steady on their own. This Ball Center Tall Post adds mid-support at any point between them: the 2-inch OD brass handrail tube passes through the ball at the center of the post, and the tall profile holds the tube off the wall so a hand can wrap all the way around the rail. That clearance matches the design intent of code-compliant handrails. Use it along a stair, a ramp, or a long hallway where a graspable brass handrail needs backing between its ends. Cast in polished brass with a decorative ball at the joint, it stays consistent with the ball-end tall posts on the run and pairs with the 334-2 tall end posts at each terminus, so the whole handrail goes together from one matching family.
